JOB TITLE: iOS Architect (multiple openings)

JOB DUTIES:

· Define and lead the overall mobile application architecture strategy, including modularization, scalability, security, and performance standards across iOS platforms.

· Design high-level system architecture, including application frameworks, reusable components, and enterprise-grade mobile solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

· Establish architectural guidelines, coding standards, and best practices for iOS development teams to ensure consistency and maintainability.

· Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, frameworks, and design patterns to support long-term product roadmap and innovation.

· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, conducting design reviews, code audits, and architectural governance.

· Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (product managers, backend architects, DevOps, and security teams) to define end-to-end system integrations and data flow architectures.

· Design and oversee implementation of secure, scalable API integration strategies, including microservices and distributed systems architecture.

· Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift (including Swift 6) and Objective-C within the iOS SDK.

· Develop user interfaces using SwiftUI and UIKit frameworks.

· Implement application architectures, including Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) and Model-View-Controller (MVC).

· Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs using technologies such as URLSession, Alamofire, Codable, Combine, and Async/Await.

· Manage concurrency using Grand Central Dispatch (GCD) and NSOperation.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus 2 years of experience. Foreign degree equivalent based on education, training, and/or experience is acceptable.

Experience to include two years with the following tools/technologies: Swift, Swift 6, Objective-C, iOS SDK, SwiftUI, UIKit, Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) and Model-View-Controller (MVC), RESTful, GraphQL APIs, URLSession, Alamofire, Codable, Combine, Async/Await, Grand Central Dispatch (GCD) and NSOperation, Xcode, Git, XCTest and XCUITest frameworks, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, Jenkins, Gitlab, Github.

HOURS: 40 hours per week, M-F, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

JOB LOCATION: Mobile Apps Enterprises LLC d/b/a Enhance IT, 1785 The Exchange SE, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA, 30339. Travel is not required but must be willing to relocate to unanticipated locations across the country per contract demand.
